Fusion Add-ins

Automating repetitive design work.

MI Design Div. at Mikawa Industry Inc. has released three add-ins for Autodesk Fusion. From modeling steel stands, aluminum frames and gears to creating cut lists and order lists, they automate the repetitive work of the design floor.

Structural Member – Autodesk Fusion add-in

Structural Member

Steel frame design (JIS / ANSI)

Assign steel sections to sketch lines and model stands in one go — from joint trimming to cut lists.

Aluminum Extrusions – Autodesk Fusion add-in

Aluminum Extrusions

MISUMI aluminum frame design

Build frames with MISUMI aluminum extrusions and place brackets as real geometry — all the way to an order list with part numbers.

Gear Generator – Autodesk Fusion add-in

Gear Generator

Parametric gear creation

Create 10 types of gears with true involute profiles. Bores, keyways and mounting holes — re-editable any time.

Speed up Innovation.

We have introduced the Carbon M3 Max with innovative CLIP technology. Its unique DLS process, which creates parts directly from liquid resin, and high-quality proprietary materials combine end-use strength with beautiful surface finishes.

CLIP (DLS) process: No layer lines — a smooth finish comparable to injection-molded parts.

Engineering Materials: High-performance resins for every application — heat resistance (HDT of 291°C), high elasticity, biocompatibility and more.

Large Scale: The M3 Max’s large build area (307 x 163 x 326 mm) makes it possible to print large parts in one piece.
