* Property values are published by each material manufacturer. For test conditions (build orientation, post-cure conditions, HDT load conditions, etc.), refer to each manufacturer’s technical data sheet (TDS). “—” means no value is listed on the official page. Values are a guide for comparing materials, not design or guaranteed values. For parts requiring strength or heat resistance, we recommend evaluation with prototypes.
How to choose a material
- Need softness or cushioning: Combine EPU materials with lattice structures to create single parts with different hardness in each zone.
- Need strength or heat resistance: EPX 82 is a candidate; for even higher heat resistance, consider LOCTITE® IND147.
- Withstand drops and impact: RPU 130 and RPU 70 are candidates.
- Repeated flexing: FPU 50 is a candidate.
- Need flame retardancy: EPX 86FR (UL 94 V-0 @2mm) is a candidate.
- Want to check the shape first: Prototype at low cost with UMA 90, then re-evaluate in the production material.
