Yes. Send us the physical part and we digitize it on a 3D scanner CMM (reverse engineering) and deliver STEP, STL or other data. We also remanufacture discontinued parts and parts without drawings. For details, see Reverse Engineering.

Carbon DLS needs no molds, so we can make single-piece prototypes. There is no minimum order amount.

Yes. Carbon DLS is used to manufacture end-use parts, and you can move from prototype to production with the same data and the same material. For large volumes, we also compare costs with other methods such as injection molding.[TBC: typical / maximum production volume]

Carbon DLS needs no molds and can produce lattice structures and complex consolidated shapes. It suits low-to-mid volume production, products with frequent design changes, and parts that need lightweighting or cushioning. For high-volume parts with simple shapes, injection molding may be more economical. Tell us your application and volume, and we’ll propose the best method.

Yes. If you wish, we sign a non-disclosure agreement before receiving drawings or 3D data.

Yes. We accept design-only (3D CAD / CAE), reverse-engineering-only and printing-only orders. We also print from customer-supplied 3D data.

Yes. We exchange data online and receive parts by shipment. Design reviews can be held online as well.

Dermis supports robots from any manufacturer that provides 3D models. For robots without 3D models or still in development, we capture the geometry by reverse engineering. For details, see Dermis.
