Mikawa Industry Inc. is a design and engineering company headquartered in Nishio, Aichi — the heart of Japan’s automotive industry. From automotive parts and production equipment design to additive manufacturing, robotics and on-site construction in manufacturing plants, we deliver end-to-end engineering under one roof.
What we do
- Digital Engineering — 3D CAD/CAE design, reverse engineering with high-precision 3D scanning, and Reality Capture of plants and buildings.
- Advanced Design — implicit modeling with nTop: lattice structures, generative design and topology optimisation.
- Additive Manufacturing — prototyping and serial production on Carbon DLS (Carbon M3 Max) and Markforged X7.
- Physical AI & Robotics — research-to-deployment robotics, in collaboration with Kanazawa University at our joint lab ∂ Lab.
- Construction — construction and installation work inside major manufacturing plants, with more than 500 projects per year.
